Over the last week we have been occupied with two tasks: Getting ready for our barbecue next weekend, and watching a lot of movies.

If we haven't already invited you to our BBQ, then this is your invitation. :) Drop by on Saturday afternoon/evening and bring some food for the grill. We will be celebrating our marriage in May and sharing stories from our honeymoon in New Zealand.

For some reason we've been on a movie binge this week as well. I can't even remember all the movies we've seen, but they include "District 9", "Get Shorty", "The Stone of Destiny", "The Man With Two Brains", "Ponyo", and tonight we are going out to see "Inglourious Basterds".

I never remember to take my camera to the movie theatre, so instead of an on-topic picture of the week, I bring you another photo of Marabelle. I took this a couple of days ago. After eating a nice big cricket, Marabelle hopped up and perched between the waterfall and the tree. She sits here often, but usually she faces the other way.

Now that the frogs are older I've decided to try taking photos with different lighting. For this photo, I set everything up and focused using the infrared light, and then turned on the room light briefly while I took the photo. Even with the light on it was still an 8 second exposure time. Marabelle didn't seem to mind a bit.
