The front porch is finally done! Well, mostly... there are still some final cosmetic details to be sorted out. However, the concrete path has been poured, so the front of the house is finally accessible again.
To celebrate, we picked up a little two seat glider from Canadian Tire so that we can sit outside and watch the sun go down in the evenings when it is warm out. I don't think we will actually have any time to sit outside before June, but that's OK.
The wedding is only a few weeks away, and everything is on track. We are just finishing up the final details, and then we have to start packing for New Zealand!

That porch looks fantastic! Well done.-- Aravind at 12:43am, Friday April 17, 2009 EST
Wonderful! I will definitely sit on your porch in May. I like the shadows in the picture, of the tree and the porch.-- Margaret at 10:09pm, Friday April 17, 2009 EST
Thanks! I waited until I got home from work when the sun was setting to get the best lighting of the day.-- Michael at 10:37pm, Friday April 17, 2009 EST
Wow Mike, I'm just seeing this now! (truth be told, I'm on your site hunting for NZ pics! Where are they?!!??) Anyway, what a great porch! Neither of us even recognized the house. It looks like its been there forever.-- Emily at 9:43pm, Monday June 1, 2009 EST
