My friends threw a surprise bachelor party for me on March 21st! We played a lot of video games, ate a lot of snacks, and drank a lot of beverages. It was loads of fun!
Angela was in on the surprise, and in order to kill time while people were gathering at a restaurant to surpise me, she suggested that we go to Conestoga Mall and take pictures of some of the entries for the Food Bank's Canstruction fundraising competition.
Some of the entries were quite elaborate. The winning entry was the one that Angela and I liked best, which is the bridge pictured here at lower right. It's hard to see in this photo, but there are little trucks crossing the bridge built out of cracker boxes so that the logo looks just like it would on a real truck. In the water below there are some Goldfish crackers as well, which was a nice touch.
Technical details: These images were taken with my Rebel XT + EF-S 10-22 lens at (10mm, 17mm, 19mm, 14mm, 22mm), ISO (100, 100, 400, 200, 400), (f/8, f/8, f/4.5, f/8, f/4.5) for (1/25th, 1/20th, 1/40th, 1/30th, 1/60th) of a second (clockwise from top left). Hmmm, I used a different setting for almost every photo. I guess the lighting was really uneven in the mall.
