Angela and I saw Coraline this weekend, in 3D! It was pretty good, and the photography was awesome. They used a high definition medical still camera, and took two pictures for each frame with the camera slightly shifted to the side to get the 3D perspective on the miniature world that they created. It was definitely the most amazing stop motion animation I've ever seen.

I haven't had time to embark on any ambitious photography projects myself, so this week I just decided to get another picture of Marabelle. She is in a much better mood now than she was last time. In fact, now Freddie is the one who seems to be in a bad mood these days.

I took this photo just after Marabelle woke up and came down to look for some food. She is still half asleep, and her eyes are only half open. My goal with this picture was to try to get the camera up close and personal. The lens was basically pressed up against the front glass of the terrarium for this photo.

Technical details: This image was taken with my Rebel XT + kit lens at 55mm, ISO 100, f/8 for 6 seconds.
