This weekend Angela and I went to Toronto to visit my newest niece, Fiona! She is doing well after a bit of a rough start. When we visited her on Sunday she was celebrating getting back up to her birth weight.
Her older sister Zoe (who is much taller and more articulate now than she was in 2006) is obviously excited to have a new baby in the house. I'm sure she can't wait until Fiona is old enough to play with.
Technical details: This image was taken by Angela with my Rebel XT + kit lens at ISO 1600, f/4 for 1/25th of a second.
Fiona seems really happy to have an Uncle Michael! She is very sweet looking. Nice picture - congrats to the photographer, Angela.-- Mum at 8:48pm, Tuesday February 3, 2009 EST
Angela has a real knack for taking photos at low shutter speeds without getting any blur from camera shake. She has very steady hands!-- Michael at 9:17pm, Tuesday February 3, 2009 EST

Fiona is sure sizing up her uncle. Beautiful baby. And lovely hands - a classical guitar player for sure. Nice photo Angela - I can't use 1/25th even with a tripod!-- Steven P at 2:50am, Wednesday February 4, 2009 EST
Great pic! You are a natural-born uncle; Fiona was very comfortable being held by you!-- Jenny at 9:17pm, Wednesday February 4, 2009 EST
