After spending a few days exploring San Francisco, San Jose, and Monterey, Angela and I attended Aravind and Kim's wedding. After the wedding, we jumped on a plane and attempted to fly from San Jose, California all the way to St. John's, Newfoundland. We got stuck in Toronto for fifteen hours due to weather, but eventually we made it to St. John's.

As soon as we checked into our hotel, we picked up Alix and Gabe and they took us up to the top of Signal Hill. Once there, we climbed to the top of Cabot Tower.

This was the first picture I took in Newfoundland. I was impressed with the size of St. John's. It was larger than I thought it would be. Pictured here is the harbour area and downtown core, with suburbs stretching off into the distance.

For the rest of my Newfoundland photos, check out my Newfoundland photo gallery.

Technical details: This was shot with my Rebel XT + EFS 10-22mm at 22mm, ISO 1600, f/4.5 for 1/5th of a second.
