This week's picture is late because I was waiting for Angela's new car to arrive so that I could take a picture of it. You see, about three weeks ago Angela placed an order for a brand new "Bayou Blue Metallic" 2007 Toyota Yaris RS. After weeks of waiting, she finally got the call that the car had arrived at the dealership! We rushed over to the dealership as soon as we could, totally excited about the new car. Unfortunately, when we got there we discovered that they had ordered the wrong colour! For some reason the salesman had put the code down for "Blazing Blue Metallic" instead of "Bayou Blue Metallic".

Needless to say, Angela was not impressed. The salesman even had the nerve to try to talk her into taking the Blazing Blue model! Anyway, the dealership has apparently located a Bayou Blue Yaris RS, so Angela should be able to pick up her new car next week. Hopefully the car they found is in perfect condition, because if it's not then she will have to order another one and wait a few more weeks.

So, sorry for the underwhelming Picture Of The Week, but I'm a little underwhelmed myself this week, so it fits perfectly. I'm looking forward to my little Ottawa vacation this weekend!

Oh, by the way, this is a photo of Angela's parking spot... taken with my Rebel XT + Canon EF-S 10-22mm at 22mm, ISO 100, f/4.5 for 1/100th of a second, digitally pushed one stop because the sunrise and early morning lack of brain activity threw off my metering.
