Some of you may remember the picture I took last year of the Christmas lights on my house. This year I wanted to take a similar picture to see how my new Rebel XT performed compared to my old HP Photosmart 612. What a difference $1000 makes, eh?
I had to take the picture from a different angle because I realized too late that I still had my 50mm lens on. This shot was taken from across the street, just after midnight. It is a six second exposure at ISO 100, f/4, with my 50mm 1.8 prime lens. No noise removal was necessary.
I don't have lights in the living room this year, but thanks to Angela I have enough lights to do both trees.
