We had a bit of a cold spell in Waterloo last week, so Angela and I decided to harvest as much as we could from our garden before frost set in. Angela started with the tomatoes, picking anything that looked like it was starting to change colour. This tomato had a hole in it, and when Angela picked it a slug came out, looking slightly perturbed. Angela called me over and I took this picture of it under the harsh glow of my outdoor motion sensing area lights. It had almost made a complete circuit around the top of the tomato by the time I got my camera set up.

Oh, for those interested this was shot with my Rebel XT + 50mm 1.8 Mark II lens at 1600 ISO, f/1.8, for 1/60s.
